What type of information we collect?
When you open a Cardiyogram account as an athlete or a coach, we will collect certain information about you which will include your name, date of birth, gender, email address(“User Data”). We will also collect data provided by you about daily wellness, training sessions, illnesses, injuries, etc. (“Performance Data”). We collect data about your heart rate & heart rate variability while performing different types of activities such as resting, walking, running, cycling, breathing & relaxation training, etc with your explicit consent.
Geo-location
During the cardio activities, we collect distance and speed data using GPS location service with your explicit consent. The location data is collected to calculate distance and speed only when a Cardio session recording is going on. This is a core feature of the Cardiyogram App since it provides analytics about your performance and recovery based on heart rate variability as well as objective measures such as distance and speed.
We will not share your current location with other users or partners.
How we do collect the information?
We collect the information when you directly use our products or services. We take your permission to use Bluetooth connection and GPS data to calculate speed, distance along with heart rate variability data. The GPS data is collected using background location service only during the recording of Cardio sessions. The location starts only when cardio session starts and tracking stops as soon the session ends and a notification is shown to this effect at both these times. The Cardiyogram App gives you comprehensive performance data for educational purpose. We will deal with your personal information in accordance with this policy.

We use the information for fulfilling
our contractual terms as product and service providers to you and
for product development and enhancement. The Cardiyogram App
provides you analytics into your rest and recovery, training load,
training zones for educational purposes. Using these insights, you
can aim to train in an optimal fashion.

and Developing the Services
We also use the information we
collect to improve the Services and to develop new ones. For
example, we use the information to troubleshoot and protect against
errors; perform data analysis and testing; conduct research and
surveys; and develop new features and Services.
Communicating
with You
We use your information when needed to send you
notifications and respond to you when you contact us. We also use
your information to promote new features that we think you would be
interested in. We use your information to provide customer service.
Our Disclosure of Your Information
In Cardiyogram App, there is a feature called Buddy – you may chose to share your Performance Data with any other user such as your friends, your coach or trainer who are also on Cardiyogram for purpose of motivation and social interaction in your group. You can also share your own data through social media apps such as Facebook, Whatsapp. We shall not be responsible for your data shared by you in this manner. For your convenience, we have provided a feature to remove a person as your buddy so that he/she can stop seeing your Data. However we will not share your current location with other users or your Buddies.
We will disclose your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy. The following describes some of the ways that your information may be disclosed in the normal scope of business to provide our services.
We do not share, lend or sell personally identifiable data with any third party. We may however share your personal information with the police and other law enforcement agencies inline with the legal requirements.
